Our organization, Unashamed Inc., had the privilege of partnering with students from Roanoke College's Public Health Practicum for a grant writing project. This review reflects on our experience working with these dedicated students and the impact of their contributions. The students delivered exceptional work that demonstrated thorough research and understanding of our mission serving foster youth in Connecticut. Their grant proposal showed remarkable attention to detail, identifying funding opportunities that aligned perfectly with our organization's goals. The quality of their writing and strategic approach was recognized with the Edward Hamilton Award—a testament to their outstanding effort. Throughout the project, communication was consistently professional, timely, and thoughtful. The students asked insightful questions that demonstrated their engagement with the subject matter and maintained regular updates on their progress.
