Learner goals and capabilities

This is a class of senior undergraduate marketing majors and minors who have taken anywhere from 4 to 9 marketing courses already, in addition to a general business curriculum. Many are focused on digital marketing and have some abilities here as well, some focus more on sales and some on advertising. There will be a good mix of student capabilities at this level.

Expected outcomes and deliverables

My goal would be to produce a lean marketing plan around 20-25 pages, with additional appendices for market research suggestions and digital marketing assets such as a social media marketing calendar and example posts.

Requirements

Ideally, we are looking for a small to medium business that would like a marketing plan defined for them focusing on marketing strategy (marketing mix, situational analysis, segmentation/targeting/positioning) with an opportunity to make digital/social media marketing recommendations as well as establish market research goals.

In the past I have had them work individually with small area businesses to produce a basic marketing plan, and would like them to have an opportunity to develop a bit more in depth.
