Psychology Undergraduate Work Placement Spring 2025

PSYU9A8

Flexible

Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from University of Stirling to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students in this program are looking for projects that should increase their understanding of psychology in a work context. Because psychology graduates go into many different areas, it is very flexible. The undergraduate work placement program involves pairing an undergraduate placement student with a host organisation, under the supervision of a mentor from that organisation. Students are required to complete 50 hours of placement between October and April (when in that time the hours done are very flexible). Projects can be conducted in person or remotely, or a combination of the two. Projects can be completed by an individual student or a team of students.

Digital Strategy for a media / cultural organisation Winter 2025

Feb 3, 2025 - Mar 12, 2025

This is a practical project that asks students to provide a digital strategy for an operational media enterprise or cultural organisation . Students are seeking out cultural organisations and creative and media companies that have started to adopt to the digital environment. In the majority of cases, digital plans will already in place. It is the job of the students to develop a strategy that differentiates from those in place and tell us what they can do better. This needs to be a plan utilising both strategic and theoretical frameworks discussed throughout the module as well as their own research into the organisation.
